System Admin:

Billing Contact

IMPORTANT: Please Keep this information up to date.

This is who we will contact regarding the subscription for this system and other important communication regarding use of this service.

This is usually the person who is Registrar, or the ‘main’ registrar if you have more than one. An important email will be sent to this person approximately one month prior to the service term ending with an option to renew.

Content License

This optional license will appear to users the FIRST time they sign in, right after they agree to the system’s Software User License Agreement. This is where you would put your company’s own usage agreement. Example: “Everything within this website is proprietary property of Acme Corp. Nothing within this website must be downloaded, duplicated, copied, forwarded, or distributed in any way whatsoever without the prior written authorization of Acme Corp.”

Training Audit Date

Have a training audit coming up? Enter its date here. A reminder will display on Registrar’s Home page until that date.

User Profile Controls

Toggle options such as 'Force user to change password on enrollment', add a default secondary ID, and add custom user profile fields. 

Support Contacts

This support tool enables students to contact dedicated staff to assist with any questions and/or concerns they encounter while navigating in our ASCENT AVIATION E-training System.

The Registrar is responsible for adding the support contact's name, email, and phone number.

Customization: 

Time Zone
Choose a time zone for all users and reports in your system.

Cover Photo

Similar to social media websites, this is a large photo that appears at the top of every Student’s Home Page. By default, one is set for your company. You can change your default Cover Photo by pressing that button. Photo must be a .jpg or .png, should be set to 72 dpi resolution, and should be about 750 pixels wide X 325 pixels tall. You can also toggle the switch to allow your Student users to change your company default Cover Photo to one of their own. They change this in their Profile.

Training Content Browser Colors

This is for setting the menu, navigation pane, and window title colors for Students when they are within a module only. It does not affect any other part of your system. It will affect ALL of your student users. It is highly recommended to keep this consistent with your company branding colors, however some clients like to make some minor adjustments to improve the Student user’s experience.

Training Content Default Text Size

Set the default text size for training content. 

Off-Line Training Events / Personal Documents / Competencies / Ratings & Endorsements

Here you can enter custom names for each of the above named categories.

Communications:

System Banner Notice

Toggles a small, text only message at the top of the home page for every user.


System Email Settings
Here you can add a custom Default Reply-To Email Recipient, and Default Custom Email Destinations for various system Certificates.

Email Templates
Edit system email templates. Student users sometimes just 'reply' to emails that come from the system. In most cases, they are replying to this system, thinking they are replying to someone at your company. Here you have a choice to either select ONE person with a Staff level role OR you can enter a specific custom email address which is where replies to the system reminders, notifications, etc. will go to.
Custom Email Templates  
This allows the registrar to customize the email template being sent out to students for modules being assigned. You could customize the following in the new email template. The header, system message, and body of the email. 

However, after you have completed customizing the new email template. We highly suggest you title it and access the Default System Email Notification Templates.

- Turn the toggle ON to use the new email template for system notifications.
- Select the new email template that you have customized and created a title for in the New Assignment dropdown menu. E.g. Aerosouth Demo Module Assignment
- Click  Save





Desktop Message
Enable for Manager toggle - set a specific message to appear on Manager role desktops.


Features Control: 

Features Control allows you (the Registrar) to enable or disable certain features within the system for both Students and Staff. These settings control the options for ALL students/staff.
