EDITING QUESTIONS

The question editor interface is exactly the same as the question editor interface for the Training Developer role when working with review and/or exam questions, with a few minor differences. Please refer to the help section for more info regarding that.

Keywords

Keywords can be added/deleted from a question bank question and are used for adding search terms that you don’t want to include as part of the question. This is because the keywords are not visible anywhere within the question, and are meant solely as a means to enhance searching for you.

You can add a keyword by clicking on the “+ Add Keyword” button and entering a single word within the blank text input box. When you save the question, your keyword/s will be saved as well.

You can remove a keyword by clicking on it’s appropriate red garbage button beside it.

Category

A question bank category is another means to organize your question bank questions apart from the keywords which are meant as more of a search tool. Assigning a category to a question will allow you to quickly filter the question bank questions by that category, which will aid in finding specific questions you need to edit and/or add to exams.

When adding/editing a question you have the choice of selecting an existing category from the dropdown, or creating a new category. If you select the “Create new category” option and enter a category name, that question will then be assigned to that category you created. Note: If you happen to delete all questions that belong to a specific category, that category will no longer exist.
