Student Desk Lite
In addition to our standard student tokens, we also offer a Student Lite option. This is particularly useful for third-party hires when operators would prefer not to grant full access to system features.
The Student Lite user role is for individuals who need access only to training assigned by the operator. These student lite users can enroll in and complete only the courses made available to them, without access to the broader system features or additional company training records.
For example, operators who work with third-party ground handling companies may require personnel to complete only the specific mandatory courses applicable to their operations.
Note: The Student Lite option still uses a student token, and registrars must request it from us by contacting support@aerostudies.com. There is no charge to enable Student Lite.
Enroll a Student as a Student Lite user

- Sign in as a Registrar.
- Click the Users Tab.
- Click the Enroll Student button.
- Select New from then options to Enroll New Student then click the Next button.
- Complete the required Student Information
- Under Student User Type, select 'Lite'.
- Under Enrolment Notification Email, Toggle ON the Email Student option.
- Click the Next button at the bottom of the page.
- Turn the toggle ON to Include Sign-In Username & Password to have the student get their login credentials e-mailed to them.
- Then click the Enroll button.
