Changes To Opening Multiple Browser Tabs In This System

If you open two or more browser tabs when logged into the system, you may be impacted by an improvement we've made. 

We developed functionality to mitigate issues some people have experienced when working in multiple tabs, particularly:

    Ensuring that a session will not time-out differently in different tabs

    Making your 'role' stay consistent throughout the different tabs

What Has Changed:

    Synced Role Switching: If you switch from Manager to Registrar in one tab and you have multiple tabs open, you will be prompted to confirm you want to switch roles. The prompt is important because you may be editing in other tabs and you wouldn’t want to lose your data.

    Synced Sign-Out: Signing out of one tab will tell all the other tabs to sign out as well.

    Synced Session Activity: Mouse or keyboard activity will continue to keep a session active and will sync this activity across tabs. This activity will now make sure that other tabs stay active as well, which will prevent you from being signed out in other tabs that you have not been active in.
