Removal of Adobe Flash Player is no longer supported tag from Modules

Adobe stopped supporting Flash Player beginning  December 31, 2020 (“EOL Date”), as previously announced in July 2017.

This help file article will walk you through how to remove the Adobe Flash Player is no longer supported tag that may be causing a disruption with existing modules that haven't been updated since Adobe Flash longer supports all web browsers. 

Here's a screenshot of what that tag looks like. 

To remove that tag from training module content pages. You would have to locate it first, then click on the "Code View" icon. When you are view the HTML code, it's important to spot out the adobe flash player acronyms in the code.  (Examples .SWF & FLV) 

Once you locate that adobe flash player acronym in the HTML code, follow where the <object line starts and finishes </object>. 

Example: Starts (<object) Finishes (</object>)

Highlight from the start of the <object line to the finish </object> line and proceed by deleting it. 

Here's a screenshot of how it would appear in your learning center. 

After you delete the object line from start to finish, it's very important that you click save at the bottom right of the content page. This assures you that the Adobe Flash Player is no longer supported tag is fully removed from your content page.  

Lastly, just click the code view icon again and you'll notice the tag has been removed from your content page.
