Archive Training

Exclude modules that are no longer relevant from the display.

When an employee is assigned module(s) for a job/equipment type, then transferred to a different type, the warnings about training expiration continue to show and email (if set up) for the old module(s). You need to keep a record of that training, but having those old modules ‘active’ and showing as ‘expiring’ or ‘expired’ can cause confusion.

To fix this, we have added the 'Archive Training' feature. This feature is controlled by the Registrar role (and Manager role, if you have it set to allow Managers to assign training).

  1. From your home page, click on the Users tab at left
  2. Click on View Training button for the appropriate student and then click the blue Manage Training button.
  3. Under the Assigned tab, you’ll see a list of trainings.
  4. Click the Archive icon button in the left column to archive a training module then click the blue ‘Next’ button at bottom. Read the confirmation and if OK, click Submit at bottom.

For info on to manually Re-Assign modules, see this help article ———-> Recurrent / Repeat Training

IMPORTANT: This will archive the current existing progress for a student in the selected module(s). The process is NOT reversible. It will remove the module(s) from the Student’s desk and active assigned training lists.  It will still show in the appropriate training history records though.  This will also stop any email notifications (ie: Expiring Soon) associated with the archived module(s).

Please email support@aerostudies.com if you encounter any issues during this process.
