Ratings & Endorsements
Background
Ratings and Endorsements keep track of specific qualifications tied to a license, job, certification, etc. For pilots, enter their ratings (night, instrument, multi-engine, etc.) and also the limitations or qualifiers for those (aircraft type, operation type, etc.). For others, this can be things like endorsements on drivers licenses (air brakes, extended length, etc.), qualifications for inspectors (x-ray, magniflux, sonic scan, etc.), or levels of authorization like (can sign off own work, can sign off others work, inspection required, etc.).
Note that these are usually tied to some sort of license or certification, which would normally be tracked in the ‘Personal Documents’ tracking.

Manage Ratings & Endorsements
To add, edit or delete ratings and endorsements:
While logged in as Registrar, in Utilities, navigate to Manage Ratings & Endorsements. This will take you to the Ratings & Endorsements page.
From this page you can quickly Create and Add a new Rating (1), Edit (2) or Delete (3) an existing Rating.
You can also move to Details (4) or More Details (5) - for the purposes of Ratings and Endorsements, Details will be considered Endorsements, and Items will be considered Ratings.
In this example, you will use the "Coffee Maker Rating" Next, click on Details (4)
This page appears very similar to the previous, however now we are adding Details, or Endorsements. In the same fashion as the previous page, you can Create And Add, Edit, or Delete details on this page. You can see that there are some Coffee Maker related Endorsements added here. (1,2,3)
Next, click "More Details" to view further detailed endorsements.
As with the previous 2 pages, here you can add, edit, or delete more detailed endorsements as it relates to the rating.
Add Ratings & Endorsements to a Student
To add Ratings & Endorsements to a student, click Users (1), then select the student you would like to add a Rating or Endorsement for. Then click on the Ratings & Endorsements tab (2).
You will now have the option to View Ratings & Endorsements (1), Add New (2), or Summary (3)
To add or remove Ratings or Endorsements, click on "Add New: (2, above)
Next you will have the option to select the Rating (1), and check boxes to select Endorsements (2,3). There is also a toggle for Active (4).
To Remove a Rating or Endorsement, you can toggle OFF the Active toggle (4, above) for a Rating, or simply de-select the endorsements (details) you wish to remove.
Summary - you can add a written summary of the Student's Ratings & Endorsements here. This could also include expiry dates as required.
