Ratings & Endorsements

Ratings and Endorsements track qualifications linked to licenses, jobs, certifications, etc. For pilots, include their ratings (night, instrument, multi-engine, etc.) and associated limitations or qualifiers (aircraft type, operation type, etc.). For others, this may include endorsements on drivers licenses (air brakes, extended length, etc.), inspector qualifications (x-ray, magniflux, sonic scan, etc.), or levels of authorization like (can sign off own work, can sign off others work, inspection required, etc.).

Note: These are usually tied to some sort of license or certification, which would normally be tracked in the ‘Personal Documents’ tracking.

Manage Ratings & Endorsements

To add, edit or delete ratings and endorsements, in this example, we'll be using the "Coffee Maker Rating":

RATINGS

In REGISTRAR role, go to the Utilities tab on the left hand panel.
Navigate to Manage Ratings & Endorsements. This will take you to the Ratings & Endorsements page.
To add a Rating, input the Rating name. Once done click the Create and Add button.
You can Edit the rating name by clicking the edit button.
OR Delete a rating by clicking the delete button.

ENDORSEMENT DETAILS:

To add Endorsement Details, input the Details name. Once done click the Create and Add button.
You can Edit the Details name by clicking the edit button.
OR Delete an Endorsement Detail by clicking the delete button.

ENDORSEMENT:

To add an Endorsement, input the Endorsement name. Once done click the Create and Add button.
You can Edit the Endorsement name by clicking the edit button.
OR Delete a Endorsement by clicking the delete button.

ADD RATINGS & ENDORSEMENTS TO A STUDENT:

Go to the Users tab on the left hand panel
Select the student you would like to add a Rating or Endorsement for.
Then click on the Ratings & Endorsements tab.
Click on Add New.
Select a Rating from the Rating Dropdown options.
Toggle ON to Activate this Ratings & Endorsement or deactivate this toggle to remove it.
Select the Endorsements & Endorsement Details.
Once done, click the Save button.

NOTE:

ADD Summary Notes - you can add a written summary of the student's ratings & endorsements here. This could also include expiry dates as required.
